Email Templates

Customize every email your affiliates receive — from their invitation to payout notifications — using the built-in HTML template editor.

Email types

Welcome email

Sent when a new affiliate registers or is created. Use this to introduce your program and explain next steps.

Invitation email

Sent when you invite an affiliate. Includes their unique signup link.

Commission notification

Sent when a new commission is created for the affiliate.

Payout notification

Sent when a payout is marked as Paid, confirming payment was sent.

Verification email

Sent when an affiliate registers via the public form to verify their email address.

Password reset

Sent when an affiliate requests a password reset.

Editing a template

Go to Emails

Navigate to Emails in the sidebar.

Select a template

Click on the email type you want to edit to open it in the editor.

Edit the HTML

The editor shows the full HTML of the email. Modify the text, colors, and layout directly. The editor supports standard HTML and inline CSS.

Send a test email

Click Send Test Email to send a preview to your own email address (the email registered to your AFFY account). Review it in your inbox before saving.

Save the template

Click Save to apply your changes. The new template will be used for all future emails of that type.
Test emails are always sent to your own account email, not to affiliates. Use this to preview how the email looks across email clients before publishing.

Sender configuration

You can configure the "From" name and email address that appears on all outgoing emails. This is set in your account settings — navigate to Settings → Profile or contact support to configure your sender domain.

Using a verified domain for your sender email (e.g. partners@yourbrand.com) significantly improves email deliverability and avoids spam filters. Using a free email provider (Gmail, Yahoo) as the sender is not recommended for production use.
