Integrations

PayPal Integration

Connect your PayPal business account to pay affiliates directly via PayPal Payouts.

Connecting PayPal for payouts

Go to Integration settings

Navigate to Settings → Integration in your AFFY dashboard.

Connect PayPal

Find the PayPal Payouts section and click Connect with PayPal. You'll be redirected to PayPal to authorize AFFY to send payouts on your behalf.

Authorize the connection

Log in to your PayPal business account and approve the permissions. You'll be redirected back to AFFY settings once connected.

Verify the connection

After returning to AFFY, the PayPal section should show a connected status. PayPal is now available as a payout method when processing affiliate payouts.

Bulk payouts

Once PayPal is connected, you can pay multiple affiliates in a single batch directly from the Payoutspage. AFFY sends all payments at once via PayPal's Payouts API — money goes directly from your PayPal account to each affiliate's PayPal email.

Affiliates must enter their PayPal email address in Settings → Payment Method in their affiliate portal before they can receive PayPal payouts. Payments to unregistered or invalid emails will fail.

Approve commissions

In the Payouts section, review your pending commissions and approve the ones you want to pay out.

Select commissions to pay

Check the commissions you want to include in the batch. You can select individual affiliates or use bulk selection.

Send via PayPal

Click Pay via PayPal. AFFY submits the entire batch to PayPal in one request. Each affiliate receives a payment to their registered PayPal email along with an email notification from PayPal.

Track the batch

After submission, payouts move to Processing status while PayPal completes the transfers. Use the Refresh Status button on the Payouts page to pull the latest status from PayPal for each item in the batch.

Payout statuses

StatusWhat it means
ApprovedCommission approved and ready to be paid out.
ProcessingBatch submitted to PayPal — transfer is in progress.
PaidPayment confirmed by PayPal and received by the affiliate.
FailedPayPal could not deliver the payment (e.g. invalid email, account issue). You can cancel and retry.
Payouts in Processing status that were not claimed by the affiliate can be cancelled from the Payouts page. Cancelling returns the payout to Approved status so you can resend it or choose a different payment method.

Disconnecting PayPal

To disconnect PayPal, go to Settings → Integration and click the disconnect option in the PayPal section. This stops AFFY from processing new PayPal payouts. Existing commission records are not affected.
