Quick Start

Set up your affiliate program from scratch. This guide walks you through every step — from account creation to inviting your first affiliate partner.

The entire setup takes about 10 minutes. You can skip the payment gateway step and come back to it later — your tracking will still work without it.

Create your account

Go to the registration page and fill in your details: first name, last name, email address, company name, and a password (minimum 8 characters with at least one uppercase letter, number, and special character).

Click Create account to proceed.

Enter your company details

After submitting the registration form you'll be asked for your business information:

  • Display Name / Brand — the name shown to your affiliates
  • Website URL — your main website
  • Address — street, city, state, postal code, country
  • Registration Number / Tax ID — optional legal identifiers

Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then click Continue.

Verify your email

A verification email is sent to the address you registered with. Open it and click the verification link to confirm your account.

Once verified, click Email verified! in the setup wizard to continue.

Check your spam folder if the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

Set up your affiliate portal

Your affiliates will log in through a branded portal hosted on your own subdomain. Configure it here:

  • Portal Subdomain — e.g. partners gives you partners.affy.pro
  • Program Name — the name shown in your affiliate portal header

Click Create Portal to continue.

Create your first commission flow

A commission flow defines how much your affiliates earn per conversion. Enter:

  • Flow Name — e.g. "Default" or "Standard 10%"
  • Description — optional note for your own reference
  • Commission Amount (%) — percentage of the sale that affiliates earn

Click Create Flow. You can create more flows and set up advanced tiered commissions from the Flows section later.

You can change to a flat-rate (fixed dollar amount) commission or add advanced conditions after setup. See the Commission Flows guide for details.

Add a payout method

Set the default payment method your affiliates will use to receive their commissions. Select from:

  • PayPal — automated payouts via PayPal integration
  • Bank Transfer — recorded manually
  • Crypto — recorded manually

Click Add Payment Method to save your selection.

Connect a payment gateway (optional)

Connecting a payment gateway enables AFFY to automatically detect payments and attribute commissions to the right affiliate — no manual tracking needed.

Supported gateways:

  • Stripe — connect via OAuth with one click
  • Paddle — configure via webhook
  • Chargebee — configure via webhook
  • PayPal — connect via OAuth

If you want to skip this for now, click Skip. You can connect a payment gateway later in Settings → Integration.

Install the tracking script

Select the framework or platform your website uses (e.g. Next.js, React, WordPress) to see the correct tracking snippet.

Copy the JavaScript snippet and paste it into your website's <head> tag. This script tracks affiliate link clicks automatically.

Click Mark as Complete when done.

You can always find your tracking script again under Program Settings → Marketing & Tracking.
