Post Affiliate Pro advertises from $89/mo — but audit log, commission groups, and branding are all add-ons. And it charges per tracking request. AFFY is flat-priced, subscription-native, and ships PayPal payouts, tax compliance, and a Telegram bot out of the box.
Post Affiliate Pro data based on their public pricing and feature pages. Last checked May 2026.
Post Affiliate Pro's Starter is advertised at $89/mo — but that plan only includes 10,000 tracking requests per month and is missing features most programs need. Audit Log is $17/mo extra. Commission Groups (required for tiered affiliate rates) are $19/mo extra. White-label branding is $27/mo extra. A realistic Pro plan with these features enabled lands at $170–220+/mo. AFFY starts at €29/mo, includes all of these, and never charges per tracking request or overage.
Post Affiliate Pro integrates with many payment processors via IPN plugins and pixel tracking — not native webhook event listening. AFFY integrates directly with Stripe, Paddle, and Chargebee by consuming their webhook events. Commissions are attributed from actual payment data: checkout.session.completed, invoice.payment_succeeded, refund events, and dispute events are all handled automatically. Subscription renewal commissions — earned every billing cycle — fire without any configuration.
Post Affiliate Pro's payout flow generates a CSV export that you upload to PayPal manually. There is no native PayPal Payouts API integration and no automated batch execution. AFFY connects directly to the PayPal Payouts API: approve commissions, select affiliates, and execute the batch — all from one screen. AFFY also generates self-billing PDF invoices automatically at every payout and emails them to both the operator and the affiliate.
US companies paying affiliates over $600/year must file 1099-NEC forms. Post Affiliate Pro does not collect W-9 or W-8BEN tax forms and does not generate 1099s. AFFY handles the complete compliance stack: W-9 collection for US affiliates, W-8BEN for international affiliates (with expiry tracking), 1099-NEC generation via annual cron job, and automatic tax withholding. Payouts are blocked until the affiliate's tax form is on file — no manual follow-up required.
Post Affiliate Pro has merchant-side GDPR tools: IP anonymization, data access for admins, and a Data Processing Agreement available on request. It does not have an affiliate-facing self-service portal. AFFY ships a built-in affiliate portal where affiliates can request their full data export or submit an erasure request themselves — with a two-step email confirmation workflow and a full audit trail. For EU-facing programs, this is a meaningful gap.
No competitor — including Post Affiliate Pro — ships a Telegram management bot. AFFY's bot lets operators approve or reject affiliate applications, view new conversions, and monitor commission activity from their phone without opening a dashboard. Slack integration delivers the same events to your team channel. Both are included on Pro and Premium plans.
Post Affiliate Pro's interface is consistently rated "dense," "dated," and "steep learning curve" on Capterra, G2, and Trustpilot. The admin panel has not changed meaningfully since the early 2010s. Setting up commission structures, fraud rules, and multi-tier configurations requires technical knowledge. AFFY has a modern interface and is purpose-built for SaaS billing: connect your payment processor, and commission attribution starts from the first webhook event.
