Launch and scale your affiliate program with AFFY. Track referrals, automate payouts, and manage partners with our intuitive affiliate management software.
Both tools track affiliates via Stripe, Paddle, and Chargebee. The differences that matter are revenue caps, mobile management, tax compliance, and invoice automation.
FirstPromoter data from their public pricing and feature pages. Last checked May 2026.
AFFY starts at €29/mo. FirstPromoter starts at $49/mo — roughly 40% more expensive at the entry tier. AFFY gives every new account 2 full months of the PRO plan free with no credit card required. FirstPromoter offers a 14-day trial. Both use flat monthly subscriptions with no per-affiliate or per-commission fees.
AFFY is the only affiliate platform with a native Telegram management bot. When a new affiliate applies, a new lead comes in, or a conversion fires, you receive a Telegram notification with full details and inline action buttons. Approve or reject with one tap — no browser, no dashboard login. FirstPromoter has no Telegram integration. Managing your program requires a desktop browser session every time.
Both AFFY and FirstPromoter support Stripe, Paddle, and Chargebee via webhooks, with automatic refund clawbacks and recurring subscription commission tracking. AFFY additionally supports multi-currency payouts through a built-in exchange-rate conversion service — meaning affiliates in different countries can be paid in their local currency without any manual conversion step.
Both platforms offer PayPal bulk payouts — AFFY at the Pro plan (€79/mo), FirstPromoter at the Business plan ($99/mo). AFFY auto-generates a PDF self-billing invoice for every payout on every plan. At FirstPromoter, invoice generation is an Enterprise-tier feature. AFFY also supports multi-currency payouts natively; FirstPromoter does not.
This is a major gap between the two platforms. AFFY includes W-9 collection, W-8BEN collection for international affiliates, and 1099-NEC generation at the Premium plan (€199/mo) — without requiring any third-party paymaster. Payouts are automatically blocked until the affiliate's tax form is on file, and W-8BEN expiry is tracked with automatic reminders. FirstPromoter only provides W-9, W-8BEN, and 1099 compliance through its Enterprise 2 managed payout tier, where FirstPromoter becomes your paymaster via Dots.dev. If you want to pay affiliates yourself, you handle tax forms manually at FirstPromoter. For GDPR, AFFY ships a dedicated affiliate self-service portal — affiliates can download their data and submit erasure requests without contacting you. FirstPromoter handles data subject rights at the admin level, with no affiliate-facing self-service portal.
AFFY has both Telegram and Slack integrations. Telegram delivers real-time notifications with inline approval buttons; Slack sends channel alerts for new leads and conversions. FirstPromoter has neither. AFFY also includes fraud and self-referral detection on all plans; FirstPromoter gates this behind the Business ($99/mo) tier.
