4 features we shipped in the last 6 weeks

Six weeks, five meaningful releases. Here is what shipped in affy.pro since we went live and what it means for your affiliate program.

1. Native Zapier integration

affy.pro now has a published Zapier app. You can connect your affiliate program to thousands of tools — CRMs, Slack, Google Sheets, email platforms, internal dashboards — without writing a line of code.

What you can do:

  • Trigger a Zap when a new affiliate signs up, gets approved, or is rejected
  • Fire when a referral is tracked, a commission is approved, or a payout is processed
  • Push data automatically into HubSpot, Notion, Airtable, or any Zapier-connected tool

The integration uses OAuth 2.0, so connecting your affy.pro account to Zapier takes about 30 seconds. All webhook subscriptions are managed from the Settings → Integrations page — you can add, test, and remove them without touching Zapier directly.

This was the most-requested integration we had. If your workflow currently involves exporting CSVs and pasting data somewhere, this replaces it.

2. Payout invoice system with VAT

Paying out affiliates who operate as freelancers or companies has always required an offline step — they send you an invoice, you match it to a payout, you pay. That step is now built into affy.pro.

When an affiliate requests a payout, they can:

  • Enter their own invoice number (required for proper bookkeeping on their side)
  • Toggle VAT on or off for that specific payout
  • Preview the invoice before confirming the request

On the client side, you see the invoice number attached to each payout, and VAT is excluded from the commission calculation when the toggle is active — so what you approve is already the correct net amount.

This matters most for programs with EU-based affiliates who are VAT-registered. It eliminates the back-and-forth email thread that used to happen before every payment.

3. Custom affiliate registration questions

You can now add your own questions to the affiliate sign-up form. Five question types are supported: short text, long text, single select, multi-select, and checkbox.

Use cases:

  • Ask affiliates what niche or audience they serve
  • Require agreement to program-specific terms before applying
  • Collect their social media handles or website URL
  • Screen for traffic volume or content type

Answers are stored per-affiliate and visible on their profile in the admin panel. Approval decisions can be based on the answers — you see everything before you click Approve or Reject.

If your program has been approving anyone who signs up and regretting it later, this is the fix.

4. Commission caps and NET30 payout lock period

Two new controls over the commission and payout lifecycle:

Commission duration caps let you limit how long an affiliate earns on a single lead. You can set a count cap (e.g. max 3 commissions per lead), a day cap (e.g. commissions stop after 90 days from the first conversion), or both. This matches the model used by most professional affiliate networks and stops lifetime-recurring payouts from becoming a liability on long-term subscriptions.

NET30 payout lock period means commissions must sit in an approved state for a configurable number of days before an affiliate can request a payout. During that window you have time to process refunds or investigate disputed conversions. Commissions that mature past the hold period unlock automatically — affiliates do not need to do anything, and neither do you.

Both controls are configured per-program in the admin settings.

What is next

Commission revenue caps (per-lead cap, monthly affiliate cap, global offer budget) are in the plan for July.

If there is a feature blocking your program from running the way you want, reach out — the roadmap is heavily influenced by what actual users are asking for.
